diversity Of One

The series of three photographs depicts faces from different eras, all of these representations of people filtered through the imagination of their creators and the canons of their time. Many of them have since lost their magical power or aura of sanctity, along with the dying religions and vanished civilizations and cultures, now becoming a sort of archive. Collective memory, museums, and archival material help us not to forget all these faces that have appeared in various places throughout our history. The idea was to create a spatial installation-sculpture with collage elements, so that the sculptures have once again become what they were, but in a new form. The attempt was to show that, although we are different in cultures, traditions, and artistic expressions, there is something common that connects us as a species. The geometry present here serves as a kind of map that illustrates the connection of diversity. This work can be interpreted in various ways; there is not just one goal or purpose, but rather a reflection on how to perceive the world today.
